“I have always enjoyed nature as a subject matter. The reference for these paintings are mostly from photos that I have taken and modified, although some are imagined. The studies of streams and the movement of water seem to lend themselves to the watercolor medium. Local Westchester parks and reservations have been a major source of inspiration for my work. I have made a balance of commercial art, fine art and teaching over the past 23 years. Recently I have been teaching adult classes at One River Art & Design in Hartsdale, which I have found to be a great way to share and build knowledge.”
