Wilderness Explorers (Ages 10-13)

This three day intensive experience mixes survival skills and nature awareness for the adventurous spirit! Maggie Pichura, Teatown Senior Educator and certified NYS Guide will lead your child through daily exercises to gain new understanding of the natural world and build self confidence in the outdoors. Learn and practice skills like shelter building, fire by friction, cordage making and finding and purifying water. Concepts like the rule of threes and leave no trace will be covered.
