How does the forest interact with water? Join a teatown educator on a short hike investigating where water flows in the forest and how the trees interact with it. Come observe and interact with models that explain how healthy forests are responsible for the clean water we drink.

Does nature need our help? Come learn about Teatown's preserve stewardship methods, discuss ways we can advocate for the environment and how we can inspire others. We will get our hands dirty by participating in a land management project that benefits the preserve, increases nature-awareness and builds self-esteem.

Together we will debunk some common misconceptions about these and other Halloween-related animals. Bring your references and questions for a walk and talk. Afterwards, meet Teatown’s crows and vultures up-close.
