Leave your fear at the (virtual) door because we’re about to dive into the wild world of Earth’s only flighted mammal. Capable of eating over 1,000 mosquitos an hour and responsible for pollinating our favorite foods like avocados and mangoes, bats are a critical, but threatened, part of our ecosystems worldwide. Join us to find out what makes them so fascinating and how we can protect our nocturnal friends.
Come discover what the forests, fields and wetlands can teach us. Track the wildlife of Teatown, know what's happening around us through bird language, and discover native plants that wildlife rely on. Hands-on investigations, activities, and games in a small group setting led by Teatown’s experienced environmental educators.
