A diverse group of panelists will discuss their experiences in STEM, including obstacles and barriers they have faced in the environmental field. They will give advice to students on how they might pursue a similar path, sharing valuable lessons learned. The panel will be followed by two keynote speakers that will discuss actionable steps local leaders can take to develop opportunities for people of color as part of their diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

The spring rains have filled the vernal pools at Hidden Valley here at Teatown. Join us for this exciting hike as we search for the spotted salamanders and wood frogs who have made their way back to these locations to lay their eggs, beginning the cycle of life.
Vernal pools are important wetland habitats that are easily overlooked in your own backyard. Join us as we investigate their function and the animals that utilize these temporary bodies of water.
