Masks must be worn properly at all times and proof of vaccination is required for adults.
Program Details – Please Read Carefully
This is a 45-minute to 1-hour program by registration only, no walk-ins. 15 people maximum per walk. Please bring your own binoculars or viewing equipment, as none will be provided. Remember to dress for the weather as the bird walks are entirely outdoors. This program is not suitable for children under 8 years old. In case of inclement weather, the program will be cancelled. No refunds.

Join birder extraordinaire (and Teatown Board member) Charlie Roberto as we look and listen for winter birds. Charlie retired from the Fire Department of the City of New York as a Captain after 40 years of service. He loves getting people excited about our natural world. He conducts nature programs for New York State, Westchester County Parks, local schools, Audubon, and Teatown on birds, butterflies, moths, and plants.

Kyle Bardwell has been an avid birdwatcher in the Hudson Valley since his early teens. He is a board member of Putnam Highlands Audubon Society and an active member of Saw Mill River Audubon and the Ralph T. Waterman Bird Club. Kyle also helps as an eBird reviewer for NYSOA Region 9, which covers the southern Hudson Valley.

Scott Craven is a lifelong birder and has been leading “history heavy” walks for Teatown’s EagleFest since its inception. He is a retired Ossining police officer and works at the Ossining Library. Scott is also the Town of Ossining Historian, and has spoken to local groups about environmental history in the Hudson Valley for decades
Birder: Doug Bloom – SOLD OUT
Walk Time: 12:30pm – 1:15pm
Doug Bloom is a former president of the Bronx River Sound Shore Audubon Society and its current vice president. He is a lifelong birder, the current birding field trip leader at the Audubon Society, and all-around nature and birding enthusiast.
