In her artist’s statement, Rosemary says: “This exhibit showcases my landscape work in oil, initially inspired by my travels in Tuscany in 2017. Since then, I have walked the Teatown trails and explored many of the nearby historic Hudson Valley sites throughout the four seasons. The painted landscapes in this show attempt to capture and celebrate that experience and the memory of those special places, reflecting their beauty and wonder. Painting landscapes, en plein air and in the studio, before and especially during the Time of Covid, has been and continues to be a source of sanctuary, community, and joy.”
