Exhibits
Teatown’s Visitor Center hosts a number of exhibits that teach our community about our local wildlife.
Wildflower Island
This unique sanctuary, home to over 230 native and endangered species of wildflowers, is only available to the public through guided tours.
Cindy’s Garden
Cindy’s Garden is an educational sensory garden. All are invited in to smell a leaf, watch a butterfly, compose a journal entry, listen to the insects’ conversations, or simply relax and let nature come to you.
Visitor Center
Stop at the Visitor Center to grab a map of the trails, shop at the Nature Store, visit our exhibits and take a rest after a long hike.

Parking
To help manage increased visitation to our preserve, Teatown will charge $7 to non-members for parking. We appreciate our members, who will always park free. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Preserve Use Guidelines
- Teatown’s trails are open from dawn to dusk.
- We encourage responsible use and contemplative enjoyment of the preserve. To this end, we ask that you carry out your trash, keep dogs on leashes, clean up after dogs, remain on the marked trails, and respect other visitors. Please observe wildlife from a distance and leave plants in place. Hiking, birding, nature study, strollers, and personal photography are welcome. Fires are prohibited.
- Please feel free to report trail problems. In the case of an emergency while you are on the preserve, please call 911.

Cliffdale Farm
While Cliffdale is not a working farm, the property is used to access hiking trails and for scheduled school and public programs. Visit our calendar for more information on programs.
