School Break Mini Camps
Looking for an activity the kids can do during school breaks? Teatown’s Mini Camps offer fun and learning while exploring nature!
We offer three environmental mini camps for children grades Pre-K through 5 during school break weeks. The camps are run by our environmental educators who help foster young children’s innate curiosity and enthusiasm about flora and fauna through a mix of outdoor explorations and age appropriate activities, games and crafts.
Please note, our youngest campers in Pre-K must be entering kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year; we cannot accommodate 3-year-olds.
Where do birds go in the winter? Why do trees lose their leaves? If you have a curious child that asks questions like these, Holidaze Mini-Camp is the place for your budding naturalist! Campers will learn about the wonders of winter by exploring Teatown’s various habitats along with playing games and constructing crafts. Many camp activities will take place outside, so please dress your child appropriately for prolonged outdoor activity in winter weather. Full day campers should pack a lunch and snack.
Froglets (Pre-K and K): 9:00 am – noon
Members: $220 / Non-Members $240
Owlets (1st-2nd) and Rangers (3rd-5th): 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
